The network called "STRAV" (Société de Transport Automobile de Voyageurs) is localized at Brunoy, near Paris. Brunoy is a commune in the south-eastern suburbs of Paris, France. From the centre of Paris, Brunoy is located at 20.6 km (12.8 mi) and counts around 26,000 inhabitants.
STRAV is an urban operator between two departments in the south of Paris and it is a Veolia Transport subsidiary. It owns 152 vehicles spread 22 lines and 350 bus stations. The network enables to serve 190,000 inhabitants and it has in average one breakdown per month on each bus during its route.

Nowadays in the city of Rome there are more than 2 million cars. Pedestrian and public transport's shares are only 20% each of the total mobility, while 60% of the trips are covered by private transport.
The increasing of private mobility in the metropolitan area has caused a quick and wide decreasing of the quality of life in the whole city. Starting from this point, the local administration has developed a policy aiming at improving mobility to modify modal split in favor of public transport.

 Since 1997 Rouen has three rapid-transit guided-bus routes, called TEOR (Transport Est Ouest Rouennais). 66 vehicles are equipped with optical guidance systems of which 36 Irisbus AGORA L Euro II and 28 Irisbus CITELIS 18m Euro III. Each vehicle covers a distance of approximately 39,000 km per year, which is a total of more than two million kilometers.
