The results of SP2 and SP3 will be validated and tested in seven European "Use Case cities": Bremerhaven, Budapest, Brunoy, Gothenburg, Madrid, Rome and Rouen.
SP4 will also develop a vision of the “European Bus System of the Future”. Dissemination activities will ensure wide visibility of the project results through existing fora such as the UITP Bus -, Industry-, Organising Authorities – and European Union Committees. In addition UITP will establish a so-called “User Group”, which will allow interested operators and organising authorities who are not members of the project consortium to closely follow its progress and discuss results.
Main goals: to test and validate new European bus systems in seven European cities; to evaluate the results of the project; to ensure wide visibility of the project and to explore its potential for the future.
Main outcomes:
- The EBSF Vision: a handbook for authorities and operators on how to implement attractive and efficient new generation of bus systems
- Demonstrations in seven European cities
