The EBSF Project will introduce its telematic platform for buses relying on full IP architecture, standard interfaces, interoperability and modularity. The IT solution, developed by 23 of 49 project partners, and which represents a milestone for European transport systems in terms of performance, cost, customer service and quality, will be unveiled on 18th November from 9:30am until 2:30pm in Paris.

Designed to meet the objectives of economic efficiency and sustainable development amongst others, the EBSF IT Architecture provides clear and precise information to the passengers who therefore become real actors of their mobility. Besides presenting the project's results, the event is an opportunity to discover the test-bench - the nerve-centre of the EBSF IT Architecture - and to take part in a series of workshops demonstrating the benefits and technical aspects of this unique initiative. As the EBSF Architecture is being developed for use by the whole public transport sector, it may become a standard in Europe in the near future, which is a key achievement for the EBSF Project.
